Man-Blender

A personal favorite and a commission, this is the man-blender. At around six and a half feet long, this weapon is so bloody heavy and awkward just from parts alone. Agin, designed for the larp, it's supposed to resemble a piece of farm equitment. The two heads on top are open cell over pvc and pipe foam and the shaft is dual layers of pipe foam over pvc. Down at the bottom, hard to see, are the two handles. The simple straight one closer to the head is loose, giving your front hand an adjustable grip that allows the entire weapon to rotate when you turn the back handle. It turns the entire shaft and head, causing destruction amongst enemies. Everything is covered in a full full of black duct tape except for the handles which are wrapped in grip tape so you don't drop the weapon. Awkward and ungainly, its a beast of destruction once you get a bit of momentum.

Intergrations

NF Bonesaw
15” Overall Length
9.25” x 7.5” Blade (1/4” teeth)
4” Handle

This is the second integration I did, after a prototype NF Sword boffer. This particular design worked a bit better then the sword because of the size of the weapon barrel. The sword prototype had the nite finder set up high in the blade but it required an excessive amount of foam to cover, not to mention it unbalanced the sword. This was again done for a larp for a friend who's character is a medic. The handle is the nf handle cit to strips and rewrapped for a cleaner grip and the blade is completely open cell foam. The barrel is pvc attached with cement and the nf itself has been gutted. Not a primary weapon but as a secondary, it can stand up to many other boffers, as well as the advantage of having the blaster inside. Overall very successful and reliable, not to mention safe as all pvc has been covered with foam.

Bearded Axe Blowpipe Hybrid
25.25" haft
6.75"x6" blade

The second blowpipe integration I did, it's a very simple yet successful weapon. Using a two foot length of pvc, I wrapped it in pipe foam, making sure it extended above and below the ends of pvc. The bottom was designed as a makeshift bushing, using foam instead of a pvc piece. This makes the blowpipe an easier weapon to use and increases the range a bit. The axe head is open cell wrapped in duct tape and the handle is done in e-tape. Again a very successful design, the only thing that needs adjustment is the bottom bushing and the boffer will work very well.

Throwing boffers

Hatchet
13.5" handle
7" x 5" blade
The first of two throwing weapons I redesigned for the larp. The rules are to have a weapon under twelve inches and no pvc core. Surprisingly the weapon is weighted well and can be thrown quite accurately. A very simple design, the handle is double pipe foam with grip tape and the head is open cell with duct tape.
Ripper
12" overall
7" blade
An improvement from my original throwing knife design, the slight curve helps with the spin. The handle is double pipe foam and grip tape, the blade open cell and duct tape. The grip tape helps to weight the trowing weapons, making them fly a bit farther.

Babylon

This is me showing off just a bit, a break from boffers. I had a trashed longstrike and wanted to do a singled titan mod so I figured I'd just put the two together and apply a large hammer. The entire inside was gutted and the little ridges were cut out with a dremel. The back had a hole cut out to fit the pump through and the front was pretty much cut off to cement in the titan barrel. The barrel itself was drill out, cleaned up and had a bushing cemented on to attach the barrel. The barrel is the longstrike false barrel with a two foot length of pvc cemented inside. The trigger is attached to the front barrel by way of a metal angle I formed with some sheet metal and duct tape. The stock is cut apart and replaced with a duct tape dump pouch since the rifle no longer takes clips. Because most of the screw holes are stripped, the weapon is sealed shut and the handled held shut with e-tape. The from grip is from the stampede. The titan is sealed and due to some sort of glitch, the weapon only fires elite streamlines of suction darts, nothing else. I have no idea why, it just does. The ranges are incredible, easily a hundred feet and it can definitely shoot farther. It does have an incredibly slow rate of fire though
